You wouldn’t work with an aids patient who was bleeding if you yourself had open wounds and no gloves, unprotected. Then why? Why would we send our Christians, the children of God, into a lost, infectious world with open wounds and no protection? No. Instead we feed them Turkish delight and spread the infection even further. Shame on us, His “anointed”, for being so arrogant. For knowing that we are safe from the fire that will one day consume the infection! The infection that plagues this world! The infection Christians are immune to. What honor? What glory do we bring to God when we turn a blind eye, a deaf ear, a mute mouth, and a hard heart to the sin that we have allowed to plague our churches? How can we continue to ask God for revival when the ball is clearly in our court?
Revelation 3:1-3
“… I know your deeds, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Wake up, and strengthen the things that remain, which are about to die; for I have not found your deeds completed in the sight of My God. Remember therefore and what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent. If therefore you will not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come upon you.”
