You take out your flashlight and enter the cave. It’s a tight squeeze but once you are inside, the passage opens up. You can see a few bats hanging from the ceiling. The floor is damp and you can hear dripping water. You follow the sound until you come to a small stream that crosses the floor of the cave. Reaching down, you taste the water. It’s not fresh. It’s salt water, the taste of which makes you even more thirsty. Your heart sinks but you continue further into the cave until the passage splits. Looking left and right, both ways looks the same.
