A certain amount of amazement comes from science illustrations. These do more than just present a point; they are memorable, and ones that your students might want to go home and try on their friends and families. When you do an illustration such as this, encourage your students to pass the challenge along–to find someone else to show and to tell them what the illustration teaches. This is just another way of helping your students remember, review and live out what they have learned.
Some set-up and practice might be required, but the life lessons you can pass to your students with these is well worth it.
