Even though you’re tired, you take the first watch. You pull the flashlight from your backpack but don’t turn it on because you don’t want to run down the batteries. You’re eyes are heavy and more than once you doze off but suddenly you fully come to your senses when you hear something moving along the edge of the jungle. You shine the light and see some sort of dog-like creature. Then comes another and another. You call out a warning and give a yell but instead of moving away, they begin to come onto the beach.
