Forgiving Others

EPHESIANS 4:32

And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.

 

MARK 11:25

Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions.

 

COLOSSIANS 3:12-13

Put on therefore, as God’s elect, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do.

 

1 PETER 2:21-23

For to this were you called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow his steps, who did not sin, “neither was deceit found in his mouth.” Who, when he was reviled, didn’t revile back. When he suffered, didn’t threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously.

 

1 PETER 3:9

Finally, be all like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous, not rendering evil for evil, or reviling for reviling; but instead blessing; knowing that to this were you called, that you may inherit a blessing.

 

MATTHEW 18:21-22

Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I don’t tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.

 

MATTHEW 6:12

Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors.
