EPHESIANS 5:3-4

But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints; nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not appropriate; but rather giving of thanks.

EPHESIANS 4:29

Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.

COLOSSIANS 4:6

Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

COLOSSIANS 3:8-10

But now you also put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful speaking out of your mouth. Don’t lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings, and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator.

MATTHEW 12:37

DEUTERONOMY 5:11
